Nominations

The "5 To Watch'' will be voted on by a panel of leading sports marketers and influencers, including representation from (but not limited to) BMO Financial Group, the Canadian Football League, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, SDI Marketing, TSN and presenting partner, the Globe and Mail. Nominees will be selected based on criteria including business accomplishments and demonstrating extraordinary results while making a significant impact on their industry sector. ‘Off the job’ contributions such as volunteer and philanthropy work will also be considered.
 

Eligibility Criteria for the “5 To Watch” List:
 

Candidates must be under the age of 40 years old by December 31, 2013.
 
Candidates can only be selected from the following segments of the Sports Industry: 

  • Sports Properties
  • Amateur sport bodies including National/Provincial Sports Organizations and Educational Institutions
  • Non-editorial at Media Outlets
  • Event/Promotional/Sports marketing agencies
  • Advertisers, Licensees, Sponsors
  • Large Sports Events
 
Candidates must work on the business side of their operation (vs. on-field performance roles like a coach or General Manager).



Nomations will be open from February 3, 2014 - March 3, 2014.
